A coloring journey through America’s national parks

This collection follows recognizable places rather than generic wilderness scenes. Yosemite and Yellowstone each get two pages to show different sides of their landscapes: a waterfall and a granite dome, then a geyser and a hot spring. The other scenes range from Acadia’s rocky coast and lighthouse to Mesa Verde’s Cliff Palace. Open any preview to read about the place and find a link to its National Park Service reference.

Landscape coloring pages for adults and older kids

Each scene has its own shapes to explore: broad rock layers at the Grand Canyon, repeating hoodoos at Bryce Canyon, hanging moss in the Hoh Rain Forest, and a sweeping river beneath the Tetons. Colored pencils work well for changing shades across mountains and water. For a simpler session, choose three or four colors and fill the largest areas first; smaller textures can stay white.

What comes in the printable pack?

The download contains 20 black-and-white illustrations on individual US Letter pages, with a small landmark and park caption on each sheet. There is no cover page to count toward the 20. Preview every illustration above and download individual PDFs if you only need a few favorites. The scene descriptions and coloring tips live on the individual webpages, keeping the printable sheets focused on the artwork.

Try this with your pack

Choose a mountain, desert, forest, and wetland scene. Locate each park on a US map, then compare the plants, landforms, and colors you notice. Make a four-page mini gallery, or color the same scene twice to show different seasons or times of day.
